The Rincon Eco Hotel

We traveled down a narrow, bumpy road. We didn’t know where to go, and it wasn’t well posted. At the bottom of the hill, we found a house. We waited in the Uber while Dad went inside. I was excited to play with Sophia – the owner’s daughter. A few moments later, Dad returned with a bunch of people and jumped back into the Uber. He drove up the hill to the cabana. I walked.

The cabana was really nice. It had two bedrooms, a living room (with a TV), and a kitchen with a kitchen table. I liked the picnic table outside next to our cabin. It was shaded by a plum tree. Every day, I would pull the plums off the tree and snack on them.

The hotel had four dogs – Blacky, Red, Dora, and Copa (like the airline). They were all really cute. Dora was especially friendly, wanting to be petted all the time. The dogs often joined us for meals, wanting the food that fell off the table.

The owners had invited us to a Chilean water park for their son’s birthday party. It had two slides – one was straight, the other squiggly. They were surprisingly fast and super fun.

There was also a pool where I played marco polo and swam. In one of the corners, there was a giant spider.

In the evening we ate pasta, sang Happy Birthday and had cake. The cake was very yummy!
